United States House passes costs targeting China that would restrict EV tax credits

The U.S. House of Agents directly voted on Thursday to authorize legislation to tighten guidelines restricting Chinese content in cars getting approved for U.S. electrical car tax credits.

versatility on battery mineral requirements for electrical car tax credits on some vital trace element from China, such as graphite.

The department said it would give automakers up until 2027 to eliminate some hard-to-trace minerals like graphite included in anode products and critical minerals included in electrolyte salts, binders, and ingredients.
