Ukraine drone particles triggers diesel fire in Russia's Rostov, regional guv says

Debris from a destroyed Ukrainian drone triggered a diesel fuel fire at an industrial storage facility in Russia's Rostov area, the guv of the southwest Russian area stated on Sunday. Firefighting units were employed to put out the fire, Guv Vasily Golubev said on the Telegram messaging app.

Russia's defence ministry said on Telegram that its air defence units ruined two Ukraine-launched drones over Rostov overnight.

In a separate post on Telegram, Golubev stated that nobody was injured in result of the attack that happened in the Proletarsk district of the region.

Baza, a Telegram channel near Russian law enforcement, stated an oil depot was harmed in Rostov. Russia's SHOT Telegram channel posted a video revealing dark smoke increasing from what it said was an oil depot.

Reuters might not separately validate the reports. There was no immediate remark from Ukraine.

Kyiv has typically said its air attacks on Russia's military, energy and transport infrastructure are in response to Moscow's. continued strikes on Ukrainian territory.
