Vietnam sentences ex-FLC chairman to 21 years in jail for fraud, stock control

A court in Vietnam sentenced the former chairman of home designer FLC to 21 years in prison on Monday for fraud and stock manipulation, in the current case in a sweeping antigraft project targeting highflying business leaders.

Trinh Van Quyet, 48, chairman of residential or commercial property and leisure business FLC Group and its Bamboo Airways subsidiary, and co-defendants who included his two siblings, were implicated of manipulating 5 stocks, including FLC Stone Mining && .
