NORDIC POWER-Forward rates slip however weekly gains intact

Nordic forward power rates slipped on Friday, however both contracts were on track for their 2nd directly weekly gain amid a drier weather condition outlook.

* The Nordic front-quarter contract fell 1.35 euros to 32.15 euros per megawatt-hour (MWh) by 1147 GMT. However, the agreement was up over 9% up until now today.

* The Nordic front-year baseload power agreement lost 0.25 euros to 43.45 euros/MWh but increased more than 2% for the week.

* The projections continue to look dry and cold, which adds to the bullish belief that the geopolitical issues cause, analysts at Energi Danmark said in an everyday note.
