Malaysia's reNIKOLA to invest over $240 mln in compressed biomethane gas jobs in Indonesia

Malaysia's reNIKOLA Holdings is planning to invest over $240 million to develop 40 compressed biomethane gas projects in Indonesia, the renewable energy company said on Monday in a statement.

The Kuala Lumpur-headquartered business stated its subsidiary PT reNIKOLA Primer Energi prepared to establish the projects with PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV, a division of Indonesia's. state-owned agricultural business Perkebunan Nusantara.

reNIKOLA likewise announced it signed a contract with. Perkebunan Nusantara IV to develop, own, run and move a. compressed biomethane gas project in North Sumatra.

reNIKOLA owns and runs solar plants throughout Malaysia and. Indonesia with a combined producing capacity of 220 megawatts. and intends to broaden its capacity to 1 gigawatt-peak, according to. its declaration.
