Petroperu reveals interruption at system at Talara refinery

Peru's state oil firm Petroperu on Tuesday revealed the stoppage of an essential unit at its just recently updated Talara refinery through the end of June, due to power supply failures and functional issues which had been ongoing because early February.

Petroperu stated in a declaration its Flexicoking system, which assists increase output of fuel from oil residues, has actually been under repair work considering that March 30 in order to ensure its functional continuity and reliability.
