Requested for remark, a Department for Energy Security and Web No spokesperson said Andrew Bowie, Britain's minister for nuclear and renewables, would satisfy KEPCO in London in the coming week without defining the purpose.

We are currently making progress on our nuclear revival, securing two sites to host brand-new projects, the spokesperson stated in an emailed statement. Wylfa has exceptional potential and we invite the interest of all parties who are looking to purchase UK nuclear tasks.

KEPCO might not immediately be reached for comment.

The paper priced quote a British government official as stating the talks remained in early stages and that Energy Minister Claire Coutinho would very much welcome all interest in nuclear investment.

The general public body developed to deliver the targets, Great British Nuclear, stated in April it is purchasing land for nuclear development from Hitachi at Wylfa in Ynys Mon/Anglesey and Oldbury-on-Severn in Gloucestershire.

Japan's Hitachi scrapped plans to develop a nuclear power plant at the Wylfa website in 2020 after it failed to find private financiers or safe and secure sufficient federal government assistance for the project.
