Russia's reliance on exports to Asia rises as service with Europe falls

Russia's reliance on trade with Asia rose dramatically in 2023 while its service with European markets plunged, with Asia's share of Russian exports and imports increasing to 72% and 68% respectively, Russian customizeds service data showed.

Moscow stopped publishing comprehensive regular monthly export and import stats shortly after it introduced an invasion of Ukraine two years back and Western countries started imposing ever-widening sanctions on it.
