Indonesia's Adaro Energy to raise $292 mln with listing of coal unit

Indonesia's Adaro Energy, the world's sixthlargest coal miner, will spin off its unit PT Adaro Andalan (AAI) in an initial public deal worth approximately 4.594 trillion rupiah ($ 291.6 million), the company stated on Tuesday.

It will use as much as 778.7 million shares, or 10% of AAI's exceptional shares, at in between 4,590 rupiah and 5,900 rupiah each, valuing the thermal coal miner at up to $2.92. billion.
