SBM Offshore's revenue increased by Liza Unity vessel sale

Dutch oil and gas services business SBM Offshore on Thursday reported a 38% dive in annual income, driven by the sale of its floating production, storage and unloading vessel (FPSO) Liza Unity to ExxonMobil in November.

The company, which leases, runs, sells and develops FPSO vessels to produce and transport unrefined and gas, produced record-high earnings of $4.53 billion last year, compared to $ 3.29 billion in 2022.

That was somewhat ahead of its $4.4 billion forecast from November.

SBM Offshore's shares were 2.3% greater at 13.17 euros ($ 14.27) at 1134 GMT.
