Russia's diesel, fuel output capacity to fall greatly in Sept, data programs

Russia's capability to produce diesel and fuel is anticipated to fall greatly in September as seasonal upkeep at oil refineries peaks, Reuters computations based upon market sources' data revealed on Wednesday.

According to the data, idle gasoline production capability is set to increase by 71% this month from August to 30,900 metric heaps daily (around 264,195 barrels daily), while offline diesel production capability is expected to leap by 88% from last month to 45,400 lots daily (around 337,776 barrels each day).

That represents 21% of Russia's total gas production capacity, up from 11% in August, and 15% for diesel output capacity, also up from 8% last month.

Russian authorities have stated there suffices fuel to meet domestic need and provide fuel and diesel for farmers throughout the harvesting campaign, while constraints on gasoline exports remain in place.

Fuel refining capability is not expected to alter much in October, according to the sources.

Russia's offline primary oil refining capacity in September is set to leap 34% from August, according to Reuters calculations based upon information from industry sources, owing to technical outages, Ukrainian drone attacks and seasonal maintenance.
