Russian rouble little bit changed versus all major currencies

The Russian rouble was little bit changed against all major currencies consisting of the U.S. dollar, euro and China's yuan on Wednesday in thin trade.

By 0730 GMT, the rouble was down 0.1% at 91.60 against the dollar, LSEG information revealed.

The rouble deteriorated by 0.1% to 12.91 versus the yuan however remained clear of the 13 roubles per yuan, a level last seen in April. The rouble damaged by over 1% against the yuan on Sept. 16 however then recovered partly on Sept. 17.

Trading in significant currencies in Russia has moved to the over-the-counter (OTC) market, obscuring rate data, given that Western sanctions on the Moscow Exchange and its clearing representative, the National Clearing Centre, were introduced on June 12.

One-day rouble-dollar futures, which trade on the Moscow Exchange and are a guide for OTC market rates, were flat at 91.36. The reserve bank's official exchange rate, which it determines using OTC information, was set at 91.43 to the dollar.

The rouble was down 0.1% at 101.83 against the euro , LSEG data revealed.

Brent crude oil, a worldwide criteria for Russia's. main export, was down 0.6% at $73.29, after two sessions of. gains, as weak macroeconomic information weighed on need.
