UK electrical power capability auction for 2027/28 clears at record high

Britain's auction to ensure enough electricity capability for 2027/28 cleared at a record high of 65 pounds ($ 82) per kilowatt (kW) per year, National Grid stated late on Tuesday.

Britain released its power capability market in 2014, offering to pay service providers for making capacity offered to guarantee the country has enough power.

A total of around 43 gigawatts (GW) of capacity was obtained, National Grid's EMR (electrical energy market reform). shipment body website stated in a provisionary auction document.
