Coceral raises 2024 EU plus UK wheat crop projection, cuts barley and rapeseed projections

Grain trade association Coceral on Tuesday raised its projection for this year's soft wheat output in the European Union and Britain by 400,000 metric loads to 134.5 million metric tons, but still expected it to come in 4% listed below 2023 due to rain damage.

In its 3rd projection for the next harvest, Coceral cut its view for the barley harvest in the bloc + UK in 2024 to 59.9 million loads, below 61.2 formerly however still 10% above last year.
