EDF targets over 10,000 hires in 2024, with 4,500 in nuclear sector

French power huge EDF strategies to hire more than 10,000 people in France on permanent contracts this year to satisfy their significant need for proficient workers, including a target of 4,500 brand-new workers in their nuclear power sector, the company stated on Thursday.

Another 10,000 short-term agreements are targeted for the year, which would consist of work-study students and interns, the business stated in a news release, which puts the job objective figure at around 20,000 overall new recruits.

Around 1,000 brand-new irreversible agreements will remain in the renewables sector, 3,000 in energy services, and 1,500 in networks, the group said.

CONTEXT
