EDF considers selling stakes in renewable energy units in North America and Brazil

A spokesperson for EDF said that the company is considering options to raise capital in order to expand its renewable energy businesses in North America and Brazil. This could include selling stakes of up to 50%.

Bloomberg News reported that people with knowledge of the situation said the state-owned utility is considering a stake sale for 2 billion euros.
