Amrize, a Holcim spinoff, plans to grow adjusted EBITDA by 8-11% through 2028

The building materials company announced on Tuesday that Amrize, Holcim’s North American spinoff, aims to achieve an annual increase in adjusted earnings before taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA), of 8-11%, between 2025-2028.

Amrize said that its listing is still on track for the first half 2025. The company made the announcement ahead of their investor day in New York. It said that the company plans to grow its revenue by 5-8% annually over 2025-2028.

Separation is expected to be the largest deal in the global construction sector. When it was announced in January 20, 2024, the company aimed for a $30 billion valuation.

Amrize's revenue in 2024 was $11.7 billion, which is equivalent to a 13% annual growth rate since 2021. This was a year where the global economy recovered strongly from the COVID-19 Pandemic.

The adjusted EBITDA for last year was $3.2 billion, which represents a growth rate of 16% per annum since 2021.

It is North America's largest cement producer, with more than 1,000 locations in the United States and Canada, and over 19,000 employees.

The U.S. Construction Market is still experiencing challenges. High interest rates are affecting residential and commercial projects while high inflation reduces the impact of government-funded infrastructure projects. (Writing and editing by Dave Graham)
