EDP's 2023 profit rises 40%, misses out on forecasts due to one-offs

Portugal's biggest energy EDP reported on Thursday a 40% dive in 2023 net earnings, driven by higher hydroelectric production in Iberia and more profits from its Brazilian business, but still missed expectations due to oneoff losses.
