Exxon's Joliet refinery prepares for reboot in mid-August, IIR states

Exxon Mobil's. 251,800 barrelperday refinery in Joliet, Illinois, started. heating its systems this week, according to industry monitor IIR.

The center lost power and took the majority of its systems offline. after a twister travelled through Joliet in July.

Earlier this week, the facility started heating the units, a. crucial part of the restart process, IIR stated.

The refinery may be able to reboot its operations at some point. in mid-August, IIR stated.

Exxon did not say the length of time it would require to restart the. refinery.
