Russia continues to bombard Ukrainian cities; one killed west of Kyiv

A local official reported that Russian forces carried out a series of attacks on Ukrainian cities, including one on an industrial park located west of Kyiv, which resulted in the death of a single person.

In recent weeks, the Russian military has expanded its operations to include daylight hours.

Vitali Bunechko said that the industrial park strike took place near Korosten.

Vitali Klitschko, the mayor of Kiev, confirmed that one of these strikes hit a building not used for residential purposes, injuring?one person.

Ivan Fedorov, regional governor of Zaporizhzhia in the south-east, said that Russian forces had attacked a market and caused a fire.

Social media pictures showed the area reduced to charred ruin. There were no reported casualties.

Two people were injured in Dnipro by a Russian attack.

In Moscow, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin released a series statements saying that a total of '29 Ukrainian drones headed for the Russian capital were downed throughout the day.

Russian air defence units routinely intercept drones that target Moscow or its surrounding area.

Denis Pushilin, the head of Russian-held areas of eastern Ukraine's Donetsk Region said that a Ukrainian drone strike on trucks killed three people and injured 10 others by strikes or explosions.
