Indian commercial device maker Thermax's first-quarter earnings increases

BENGALURU, Aug 1 - India's Thermax published a. 13.5% rise in first-quarter earnings on Thursday, on constant need. for industrial products.

Its consolidated revenue before tax and exceptional products. rose to 1.61 billion rupees ($ 19.23 million) in the April-June. quarter from 1.42 billion rupees a year back.

The segments together contribute about 85% to the business's. overall revenue, which increased 13% to 21.84 billion rupees.

Thermax's shares closed 2.1% greater after the results.
